WISH…Elegant Clothiers will be holding a Benefit Fashion Show for the Chowan Arts Council on September 21, 2007. Come and see the latest in Woman’s and Children’s clothing in time for the start of Fall. A silent auction of stylish clothes will also take place during the event. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Chowan Arts Council. So come enjoy an evening of fun and fashion while supporting arts and cultural programming in Chowan County.

Strings Attached Benefit Concert

The popular bluegrass group hailing from the IBX, including Camden, Elizabeth City and Perquimans County, is planning a benefit concert for the Chowan Arts Council to be held in early 2008. Strings Attached have been very active in the past few years playing at Acoustic Coffee, Edenton Music and Water Festival, and the Elizabeth City Harbor Nights Fourth of July Celebration, among others. Strings Attached consists of Cousins Blake Cooper and Justin Perry, Blake’s father Buddy Cooper and Jerry Morgan.
