The Chowan Arts Council Museum maintains as a permanent exhibit "A Century of Chowan Through Photographs". This exhibit depicts life in Chowan County from 1850 to 1954. Treasured photographs from many families create an historical portrait of this community during the last century. Also included is "A Century of Chowan News" which shows pages from over 100 years of Edenton News.

"The Century of Chowan Through Photographs" is available for viewing in the lobby of Historic Swain Auditorium. "A Century of Chowan News" is located in the entry hall of the CAC Gallery and Shop.

The Museum is open from 10am to 4pm Monday through Saturday. There is no cost to visit the museum.
