Artist since I was six….

Our dining room always had my Aunts easel (which was a chair) set up with a painting in process.  I have sat there and matched colors and painted on her picture (thinking she would not notice!!) only to learn that two of my other sisters were doing the same thing.  We are still matching colors only now creating our own world with our art.

I was called outside to see flowers, wonderful sunsets and even the northern lights making me aware of my surroundings.  My aunt taught me to not only look but to see.

I do not remember exactly when I started drawing – it just seems it was always there.. Painting and Art Shows have been some of the happiest times of my life.  I enjoy art shows and the competition that it brings.  I am not as young now, but am still blessed with good eye sight and a yearning to continue my work.
